Vehicle Description
This 1985 Jeep CJ-7 is finished in orange over black vinyl and
powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual
transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The Jeep spent much of
its life in California and underwent a frame-off cosmetic and
mechanical refurbishment from 2012 to 2017 that included a repaint,
an interior refresh, and overhauls of the powertrain and other
mechanical components. Features include a removable black hardtop
and side steps.
The cabin is outfitted with front bucket seats and a rear bench
reupholstered in black vinyl with contrasting accents, which are
accompanied by a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. An
aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel has been added and a
Crutchfield retro push-button radio has been added. A Speedhut LED
digital gauge package was added with GPS speedometer, built-in
altimeter, trip meter and compass. The odometer was reset during
the restoration and currently shows just under 8K miles.
Black 15" Method Race wheels mounted over manually locking front
hubs and XRC swing-out carrier at the rear.
